The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) is currently seeking applicants to serve on the Electrical Safety and Licensing Advisory Board.

Advisory board members play a critical role in supporting TDLR’s mission by providing technical knowledge, industry expertise, and real-world insight to the Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation and agency staff. These boards are composed of licensees, representatives from regulated businesses and industries, public members, and other professionals.

Although there is no financial compensation for serving, advisory board members experience the personal and professional satisfaction of contributing meaningfully to the programs and professions they represent. Advisory board members participate in virtually scheduled board and workgroup meetings allowing for flexible participation.
