Reach out to old coworkers, instructors, or contractors you’ve worked with before. Many job leads in this trade come from personal connections rather than job boards.
Join local electrician Facebook groups or trade forums, where professionals often post openings and recommendations.
If you’ve been out for a while, consider starting with a short-term contract or apprentice-level position to get your hands back on the job and demonstrate your value. Experience moves quickly in this field, and once employers see your skill set, advancement follows fast.
