PSI Exams is the third-party testing company that gives the test.  The exam is timed so learning to take the entire exam as accurately as possible under the time limit is a must!

You will need to dedicate a few months to study the NEC, the TDLR's rules and regulations, and any other relevant materials to get ready for the test.

There are also many tools, like study guides, comprehensive study books, mock exams, and practice exams, that can help you get ready for the Master Electrician exam.

The requirements for the Master Electrician license may change over time, so it's best to check with the TDLR for the most up-to-date information. We will try our best to update you by email and keep you informed.  Sign up for the newsletter below.
